I am currently exclusively offering bridal, wedding, and event hairstyling. This includes photo shoots and other special occasions.
I firmly believe in transparency and open communication, and that includes pricing. My prices say "start at" to indicate that my pricing will reflect the time and intricacy involved. At our trial session, we can discuss pricing based on the hairstyle you choose, so there are no surprises and no sticker shock.
My mission is for you to enjoy getting your hair done, but more than that, for you to feel confident, empowered, and fabulous. In order to do that, I highly recommend a trial session. We get to know each other, we try out the hairstyle(s) you like, and you can get the answers to all of your hair questions. This alone will alleviate a ton of stress and reassure you that you will be taken care of and heard.
At this time, I do not do makeup. However, I have a referral list of absolutely amazing makeup artists for you to peruse.
Yes, I do travel. There is a mileage fee for locations 20 miles away from Fresno, CA.
I am open to booking individuals, small bridal parties, and large bridal parties. Our timeline/timeframe will determine how many people I personally can work on. If for some reason I cannot take care of the entire party, I will bring my trusted and talented colleagues to work alongside me and get everyone done on time.
Your deposit ensures that no one else books me on your day, and also goes toward your total amount due.
Clean, dry hair is absolutely the best canvas for beautiful hairstyles. Blow outs are available to book for $50 (adds 30 minutes to the service). If you arrive with wet hair or hair that needs to be washed without booking a blow out, we will discuss our options at that point. However, that will put us behind schedule and may result in not being ready on time.
Brides are the priority; I wholeheartedly believe that the bride deserves the utmost time and attention on their wedding day. My pricing is designed to reflect that. During the trial session we can discuss the options available within your budget.
Not at this time. Individual rates apply.
There are several factors to choosing a hairstyle for your wedding:
1. Your hair: This is the number one factor. Whether it's long, short, thick, thin, straight, wavy, or curly - there is a hairstyle that compliments YOU. This is why I love creating customized hairstyles that are unique and personalized. You should look like YOU on your wedding day - a glam you, of course.
2. Your wedding theme/vibe: I love a theme! If you are having a romantic, traditional wedding, I won't recommend something edgy or modern, or vice versa. Your hair should be part of a cohesive overall look.
3. Your dress: This could be included in #2, but I felt it needed its own section. Your dress can help you determine whether your hair should be up or down. For example, many brides who choose a high neckline will choose an updo so that the dress and hair don't clash.
4. Extensions/Hair Pieces: If you are new to extensions, I recommend clip ins due to the versatility and ease that they provide. Extensions do expand your options in terms of which hairstyles are possible. Especially hairstyles on Pinterest or Instagram, as many times the inspiration photos we find there do include some sort of extensions or hair pieces.
5. Accessories: Your hairstyle will be instantly elevated by a veil, clips, barettes, jewelry, pearls, bows, tiara, crown, or any other accessory (the list literally goes on and on). During the trial we can try on as many accessories as you want so you can go with whatever makes you feel the most gorgeous.
6. Ultimately, the best hairstyle for you will be the one that makes you feel BEAUTIFUL!!!
I recommend making sure you're loving your hair color at least 3 months before the wedding. A touch up and gloss at least two weeks before the wedding should make your hair sparkle just in time for the big day. If you struggle with grays/gray roots, then your colorist may want to get a hold of you a week or so before the wedding.
If you're my age (Xennial here!), you know that we grew up obsessed with our face shape. I'm here to tell you, whatever shape your face is, you can wear whatever style you LOVE! What matters most is that you love the way you look.
Healthy hair is beautiful hair, so take a look at what your hair frustrations are (if any). If you're experiencing scalp irritation or dry flakes, invest in a scalp treatment service with a professional hairstylist. If you have split ends and breakage, invest in a haircut and deep conditioning treatment. Your shampoo and conditioner should leave your hair feeling clean and soft, but not weighed down. I could talk about products forever, so please feel free to contact me and ask me anything!
Scheduling the hairstyles is one of the many ways that we stay on track and on time. Without a schedule, there is a higher probability that we will not get done on time. I ask that all bridal party members be present at their scheduled time so that the Bride is able to fully enjoy her allotted timeframe. If the schedule needs to be revised, we can always do that before the wedding day arrives.
